Key questions guiding the film are: Should Thailand go for nuclear? Is nuclear technology safe enough? Are there alternative options, e.g. Renewable Energies?

The film features debate on nuclear energy and alternative energy options for Thailand, based on the debate about the Power Development Plan 2007. An independent academic from the NGO Palang Thai contests the pro-nuclear position of Mr. Piyasawat Amaranan (at the time Minister of Energy) and the Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand (EGAT). France's and Finland's nuclear experiences are considered as case studies. It is made clear that a process like this needs public debates of the pros and cons, free access to all relevant information and public participation in decision-making.

Using laymen’s terms and a journalistic approach,Thai Climate aims to improve the understanding of, and heighten interest in, the varied issues surrounding climate change in Thailand.Most importantly, Thai Climate hopes to stimulate more vocal and active participation in meeting the challenges posed by global warming in Thailand.
