In cooperation with HBF SEA the "Kunstverein Bad Aibling" invited four contemporary Burmese artists to Germany to exhibit their new art media, installations and paintings.The exhibition established among others cultural bridges between Myanmar/Burma and the German art community, fosterd dilagues between German public and Burmese contemporary young generation artisits, thus stimulating in-depth discussions and reflections on current cultural developments.

Beyond Pressure - International Performance Art Festival, 4-14 December 2008, Yangon, Myanmar/Burma – This was the first time in Myanmar performance art history that a performance art event was officially allowed. This was the first international performance art festival curated by local organizers. The pervious events used to be organized by senior artists.
